GOGOHK is an online free guide in town that helps people find cool places to shop, exercise, play, relax and beautify. It provides local search capabilities in different categories for visitors. Each listing includes basic information, photos and links to find out more about the business. Reviews and rating on different aspects are also found for the business.
From decades ago to now, word of mouth is always important in spending decision. In this internet age, people are buzzing around and blogging about the good or bad things they experience in town and we hope those opinions and feelings could be organized under shops level so they become useful to people around. We don’t mind people putting their own blog link under their comment because this will review more useful information to the audience. The objective of GOGOHK is just to provide a platform for organized sharing of information and experiences. We try to make it easy to find, review and exchange ideas about a particular shop or business.
Currently, GOGOHK covers some big categories including Shop, Beauty, Exercises, Entertainment and so on. People could then dig out more about a fashionable street store selling self-designed clothing, a mom and pop cake shop selling really fancy cake or a cool art jamming place in one of the old factory building. Right now, we are not doing food category because we understand you develop a habit of consumer behavior with certain websites and what we aim at is just to provide you with the information in your other aspects of life. After all, we know that you in Hong Kong don’t only need food according to the Maslow Hierarchy!
GOGOHK aims to connect people with great and unique local businesses. Business could open and maintain account in GOGOHK and have their page to share information with the Community. They could put up their general info, facebook link, coupons, press and photos. They could at any time login and update product photos when there’s new festival promotion. Audience could comment or question the business and business could also make use of the platform to understand more about what their customers need and to answer their questions.
