HomeTasty.com is both a global community and marketplace for Homemade Food & Private Dining experiences, especially made for Food Loving Travelers. Our mission is to bring together food lovers around the world over home cooked meals! Here’s what my friend said after he heard the idea: “The world would be a better place if we all ate together more!”

HomeTasty is co-founded by Daniel Cheng and Jimmy Wong on Feb 2011 after the two met at a local startup brainstorming event called Bootup. While we were brainstorming, a guy came in with a lunchbox packed with delicious homemade food prepared by his girlfriend. And we thought, “homemade food is such a magical thing which doesn’t just fill you up, it connects people and tells stories about cultures.”

At HomeTasty, congenial hosts can post home cooking parties to our location specific listings, and intrepid guests who are curious to authentic home cooking experiences can book for seats. Every party has a theme or a topic so dining philosophers from all over the world are welcomed.

HomeTasty.com has been officially launched in July 2011 and we are constantly improving on it to provide our users with the best home cooking experiences. Photo Albums, and LeaderBoard will be coming soon.
